This course is unusual in that it teaches a variety of traditional massage techniques as well as allows you, the massage therapist, to adapt these to create a bodywork treatment that is totally unique to you and flexible to the needs of each client.  You will be empowered by intuitive touch, compassion and balance that is beneficial to the receiver and you, the giver.  The  intuitive massage you develop during the second week will be based on an array of holistic practices taught and practiced during the first week, including knowledge of the body’s energy centres known as the chakras, as well as the conventional massage techniques used in Balinese, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Shiatsu, Thai, Ayurveda and Reflexology treatments.

You will have plenty of time to explore and experiment to capitalize on your individualism,  yet still adhere to best safety practices learned when you study anatomy and physiology.  You will become competent at analyzing each person’s physical and mental issues by intuitive feel and developing a strong rapport in order to adjust each session to fully address each different situation.
