- Understand the basic key ingredients in waxing preparations · Understand the importance of current legislation appertaining to beauty employment
- Perform aftercare procedures immediately after waxing treatment and give appropriate home care advice

Aim of this course
This will enable a candidate to perform safe and effective depilatory waxing treatments. You will achieve a qualification at UK Level 2 national standards, approved by CIBTAC and recognised internationally. This qualification will enable you to gain employment in the beauty therapy industry.

Theory 20mins (multiple choice paper)
Practical 45mins To include: consultation and treatment of the leg up to the knee and one other area of the examiner’s choice e.g.
bikini line or underarm
