Ayurveda Body Massage
Ayurveda massage, known as Abhyanga body massage, is traditionally performed with medicated herbal oils chosen according to the patient’s Dosha. It uses long strokes, mainly with the full palm with all the pressure movements in the direction of blood pressure. Abhyanga is the treatment on the center of the body’s Panca Karma which is the “Belly”.
Abhyanga is an integral part of the daily routine recommended by the Ayurveda healing system for overall health and well-being. It is nourishing, balances the doshas, relieves fatigue and provides stamina, pleasure and perfect sleep, It also enhances the complexion and the luster of the skin, promotes longevity and nourishes all parts of the body.
