What will Bali BISA do for the Sponsor? Trust and accountability is the most important factor when an individual or organisation chooses to sponsor or donate in any way. So it is important that the entire process of Vocational Sponsorship at Bali BISA is transparent, accountable and detailed in all areas. CHOOSE YOUR APPLICANT Bali BISA has a list of applicants who have been vetted and found suitable for the Vocational Sponsorship program. A full report on three applicants with back ground information will be supplied to the sponsor to allow the sponsor to choose the recipient of their support. It is important to understand that a great deal of work is carried out with the applicant , their family and village to ensure that all involved are committed to the process and suitable for the industry. Bali is a family and village orientated living system, where each person belongs to the family unit and the village and has certain responsibilities. It must be fully agreed by all parties that any applicant is in a position to complete a course at Bali BISA before they begin. Although prior education is not essential, a public high school certificate is required. The reason for this is that this is a Vocational Training, not a basic education program. Bali BISA is an intense 3 month course aimed at speedy job placement, where basic Spa English will be taught. However an applicant must have a basic knowledge of the way to be a part of a classroom, or it is not achievable in 3 months.   Furthermore all applicants must 1. Provide a letter from their village/regent to allow a police clearance to be obtained (without a letter from this source no Balinese can produce a Police clearance) 2. Provide a valid form of identification , Indonesian Identity Card or Family Registration form 3. Provide copy of High School graduation 4. Provide valid references 5. Provide agreement from their family to be able to complete the course. 6. Be between the ages of 18 and 25, unless extenuating in need circumstances arise SPONSOR CONTACT AND COMMUNICATION Bali BISA will appoint an independent person to communicate with the sponsor and handle all payments to Bali BISA, issue receipts, forward all communication and reports. The independent consultant will ensure that the student attendance and progress is clearly communicated with the sponsor. Any further information that is required at any time will be gladly provided. REPORTING TO SPONSOR During the three month course the sponsor will be sent • A Monthly report on the applicant that details his or her progress and examination marks. At Bali BISA the study program is modulated and requires weekly practical and theory examinations. • The sponsored student will communicate directly with the sponsor on three occasions, twice during the course and once at the graduation from the course. English is a basic part of the Therapist training, so it is very rewarding to see your sponsored person grow in their communication skills. • A copy of the accreditation issues by the Indonesian Government to the student after the final examination. • Details of the student’s employment as soon as the student is placed. • An invitation to a sponsored student demonstration and thank you ceremony in Bali. What is the Cost to change a life forever? There are two levels of sponsorship available, being non board and the full board. Students are normally far from their family and village so in general require full board sponsorship. The costs are as follow
